i miss melby.
many things and melby's weather included. it's crazy. i've been perspiring so much here i'm starting to wonder where does all that water come from x) under the sun iz understandable, but having dinner?! sitting at my desk?! yikes x) i love my showers now :p
anyways, in all attempts to try to tone up my body(fats to be more exact), i swam and cycled (: happys (: and more cycling and more to come :p
covered longer distances with my dad cycling around to run errands and get things done. rather than taking the bus which would have been the first option if i had to do it myself :p so today, dad and i cycled to AMK den for fun we juz cycled ahead further on to lower pierce and for a drink thereafter via bishan park :p
wanna go swim again tmr (:
but dad says no. cuz viruses catch better in wateR? or smth along that line.. i've been sneezing the whole of today. i wonder why..
which makes me all so sleepy now...

as i'm busy running my fingers over my lappy now, the sun has yet to rise :p
second official day back at home.
havent contacted everyone i know yet, so i suppose some would still tink i'm in melby x) which makes it easier as well :p nahhhhh, i guess i've got more than enough time to not be contacted for my first two weeks here x)
so sunday, came back to find my internet not working ):
suffered for internet withdrawal symptoms of oversleeping and not knowing what to do in the day. which meant i woke up at 1130am missing my swim that i was intending to go for EVERY morning or at least try to :p lunched and unpacked a lil' more, made a dental appt on 10dec, met bk for tea at J8 sakae, came home to help my granny cook (YAY(:), dinnered and decided the internet-less system was too hard to bear. met my mum at tampines and got my new internet. ta-daaaaaaaa! (: and i made her spend 70bucks at NTUC x)
I GOT MY HONEY STARS! (:
i was so bored i finally took out breaking dawn to try to finish it. oh wells. and did i say? the roads here have TRANSFORMED to what seems magically. now it's so far to walk to any busstop ): though it does look prettier.... x)
and i'm up to yet another gloomy day in the sunny island.

bleh, haven been blogging much lately.
but because of requests to make some noise on my quiet blog, here's an entry i guess.
not sure whether to be happy or sad to be going back.
leaving melby where i've settled in and made myself comfortable for the past months, i've come to find joy and pleasure in being here. though the past few days have been sweltering hot (even warmer than back in SG and i actually got a tan from it), it's juz different. melby juz has an Xfactor that sg doesnt have?
oh wells,
sunny island (which isnt very sunny now because of the monsoon season), please be nice to me.

countless amt of fun on this mini winery tour (:
first up!
woke up really early for pickup at 650am x)
met up with everyone else at keith's at bout 815 (: and started the drive down to warrnambool (: stopped by the first winery for the trip :D
while keith went to meet his client, we checked into our holiday park cabin (:
continued the drive down towards the twelve apostles (:pitstop at the Port Campbell foreshore for timboon icecream! and this really beautiful scenic lookout (:
after a couple of minutes more drive, the aussie famous twelve apostles along great ocean road (: well apparently a few of them suffered weathering and fell. soon before you know it, it'll be the last apostle no more :p
so instead of going to the london bridge to see the arch that's about to succumb to gravity, we stopped over at loch ard gorge on the way back. it's like a pit hole overlooking the coast (: beautiful. apart from the sand that was cold, it was a pretty sight. they actually played with the waves as well! try running away from the rapid massive inflow as each wave crashes on to the shore (: bryan got his pants all wet :p
headed home for BBQ dinner after that (:the next day, we were back on the road towards adelaide.
on the way, we drove past these huge wind farms (:
pit stopped at the blue lake.it's the blue lake because the water turned pure blue only during summer. which now the colour was still changing, so you still can see a little of it dark and other parts blue.
and i tink we spent the rest of the evening visiting wineries? cant rem x) headed home for carbonara dinner (:next morning, we visited the naracoote limestone caves (:
here's keith hugging the giant marsupial! which is actually the lifesize version of the largest marsupial found (:
then we spotted a snake "zebra" crossing! :Dthe scary thing about it was that this snake had no head :p they were both tails at both ends x)
after limestone caves, we went to the wood gallery, and the wool gallery, and parted for a few more wineries and pork roast dinner thereafter (:the strangest thing ever seen that evening was a massive flock of sheep started running into our caravan park! :D hilarious x) it turned out that they missed a turn :p cameras were too slow to capture it :p but because of the sheeps, we realised there was a penola country show that night. managed to catch fireworks that night.
started driving up towards Moana the next day.
stopped over to make friends with Larry (:
keith was saying that larry was a mistake. he was suppose to be 18feet tall, but something happened and he became 18m tall :D
drove to the Cape Jaffa lighthouse. but it wasnt anything nice to see. so instead, i wandered closer towards the coastline. saw this sunflower looking weed :p i'd say it's a nice shot except that i got the wrong focus. as always >.< 
anyways, lunchtime!had authentic fish n chips and some others ordered lobster at this jettish looking place :p but i didnt like them both, they tasted fishy. eeks. before lunch, we camwhored a little. and here's the peeps from the other car (:
continued the drive all the way to Moana, our next cabin accomodation while a couple of others stopped over at another one of the wineries which seemed to have really good wines because of the stash they got :Dupon their return, we headed over to shipwreck coast. but you cant see the shipwreck. probably somewhere deep under or maybe it's juz a death zone for alot of ships :p
had dinner at one of the chinese restaurants are chinatown in adelaide city. dead beat by the time we reached home.the second last day of the adelaide tour was the worse holiday experience ever. i wont say much about it, but i guess some people juz never grow up. or rather, they juz never mature.? the influence of alcohol iz widely known and educated, but yet juz like smoking, everyone else ignores the health effects of it for whatever reason. juz like the advert: quitting iz hard, not quitting iz worse. count your costs.
so yeah, having been sent off to adelaide city for the day. i decided to find something to buy at adelaide city. and i got my shoes cuz it alligatored on me the day before :D
walked about the city and found out there was nothing much in there. silverballs which was said to be a muz-take.
and it so happened that it was a sunday and the rundle street market was open.bought soft nougats and a seriously loveable thumbelina there. fell in love with it the moment i saw it, bought it. mineeeee. hearts!
after the sweltering day under the hot sun of nothing much to do, waited for dinner to be served - at adelaide's WORSE vegetarian restaurant, the StaG (:
so that was the last day (:before heading home, we visited the strawberry farm (: and picked the most awesome strawberries ever. the first time i've picked strawberries (: juicy sweet strawberries. though not as sweet as sunny ridge, but still yum.
then it was a really long drive back to melbourne. and i tink trying to keep drivers awake seems almost as tiring as driving the long journey itself.but anyhow.
the mini winery tour to adelaide was enjoyable(:
i tink i prefer wineries better compared to boring city walks (: even though i may not taste wine or have yet to learn the skills to tasting wine, the scenic moments in the wineries can be breathtakingly pleasing to the eyes.
